Matheny Electric is built on nearly two decades of hands-on experience in electrical and solar energy systems. Owner John Matheny began his career in 2009 with Solar Works, where he developed extensive experience installing, servicing, and managing solar and electrical projects.

Starting in the field as a solar installer, John gained practical experience working on residential and commercial systems before moving into service and operations management. In his leadership role, he oversaw field crews, system performance, and day-to-day operations. He went on to become a certified Residential Electrician with C-10 Contractors License. That experience provided the foundation for launching Matheny Electric.

Today, Matheny Electric provides dependable electrical and solar services for homeowners and businesses.
